Yes, what you're seeing here is a piece of wood that fit *in* the car but had to be cut to get out. Looks like once you get to 4' by 4' it's jsut a smidgen too big. And no, this pic won't be in the wondercar page :-)

The actual vertical supports are 2x4s. I make them 4x4s most of the way by mating then with another 2x4, but those 2x4s are cut so that the platforms can rest on them.
